Brutus at the beach
“I enjoy going to the beach to discover the changes in the
seascapes and love walking on the timber logs. I am agile
and have an excellent sense of calmness and balance in
nature.”
Bow Wow, Thank you for
visiting my page.
As you should know I am a sensitive English
Bulldog with attitude. I am eager to meet people
and other dogs but sometimes I get too aggresive
on first time meet and greetings and likes to jump
up or establish some form of dominance in a pushy kind of way.
Though I think my people are helping me socialize more with
others, and they make me use a leash to prevent me from
jumping on you or eating your cute puppie dog. I am gettng
more mellow apparently and I am rewarded for good behaviour
with guidance and treats. Yes , that right. I am stubborn and
opinionated.
- But I must have to let you know who’s boss first. Got it?
Once you get to know me I must say I am well behaved, kind,
loyal, gentle, playful, sneaky, grumpy, wise, thoughful, respectful,
paws can knock things over at any moment, watch out, bossy me,
hungry at dawn, hungry again anytime, I am a good floor
manager, gee you could set your watch at 5 O’clock for dinner
time.
I do like to meet other dogs in a daycare settings where things
are neutral there. When on walks I am protective of my peoples’
and do not like it when other dogs are off leash. Bow Wow! I
currently weigh about 65 lbs. of pure strong muscle, and like
going on adventurous long walks to keep in good shape.
We Love
Brutus
Hey everyone. My name is Brutus and I am
an English Bulldog.
I am 5 years old now and I am very food
motivated. So my peoples are persitant to
feed me treats whenever I do something
special. Though they put me on some kind of
diet which they tell me is the vet’s fault.
Cheers & Bow Wow! - Brutus -read more

Brutus - RIP - January 17,2011 - March 29, 2017
We are sad to let everyone know - we had to put Brutus to sleep. We had hoped for a different
outcome but we couldn't let him continue that way and we are very heart broken now. Last few
weeks Brutus had different issues progressing one that was a grand mal seizure , other than
the pain he was having from spine disc issue and hip (arthritis). He had some good moments
but he couldn't cope without the pain meds, and the bad moments were getting worse he was
incapacitated for at least the third time in 2 months. After a long weekend of pain and crying
and becoming immobile even while on pain meds Brutus was simply suffering too much. We
are in complete shock that at age 6 that he going down hill so fast and we had hoped to have a
few more years with him. Listen to Brutus's favourite song I wrote for him for you to remember
him by called "Unicorn". Every time I played this song he would perk up because he knew I was
singing about him. Now we are at such a loss of a great dog. Good bye Brutus, we love you.
